Alumni contact details submitted through this portal are collected strictly for coordinating donation logistics and will never be shared publicly or sold to third parties.
1. Information We Collect
When you submit a pledge or inquiry on an equipment wishlist item, we collect the following basic information:
- Full Name
- Email Address
- Phone or WhatsApp Number
- Graduation Batch or Degree Programme Year
- Optional delivery notes or pledge preferences
2. How Your Information Is Used
Your contact information is used solely by authorized Department of Building Economics personnel to:
- Confirm and coordinate procurement, delivery, or financial transfer logistics for the chosen equipment.
- Issue official University of Moratuwa donation receipts and tax/acknowledgement documentation.
- Coordinate alumni plaque naming and recognition preferences (only if explicitly desired by the donor).
3. Zero Third-Party Sharing
We do not rent, sell, or disclose alumni contact records to any commercial vendors, marketing platforms, or third-party mailing lists. Records are handled in strict confidence by the department's appointed alumni liaison committee.
